Energy:
It is shocking how much the kids will learn while experimenting with the circular flow of electricity! Students will amp up their current knowledge of: insulators and conductors, wiring schematics, and recreating Edison's experiments with filaments and light bulbs. It's a "hair-raising"ride!
Land and Water:
This unit is no wet blanket! Students will be experimenting with the affects of water on our world! There will be no erosion of brain power as students experiment with erosion and deposition! This unit will ROCK your world! We'll be shaking it up while we learn about natural disasters and plate tectonics! This unit will rock and roll right into the composition of concrete, and how our world is derived of natural resources.
Environments:
Animals? YES! Animals! In grade four, we will be studying the many habitats of the animals of our world, and how their adaptations allow them to survive in the wild! We will be studying the lively relationships between organisms and their environments. The kids will be "anima...ted" as they observe goldfish, mealworms, beetles, guppies and isopods!
